The research employed a mixed-method approach using both quantitative and qualitative data, including questionnaires and interviews. A questionnaire was distributed to 90 non-English major students enrolled in the second semester of the academic year 2023 - 2024 at Kien Giang University. Data analysis indicated that students had positive perceptions of all four aspects of the Note-taking strategy and they provided personal insights into its usage. Additionally, interview results demonstrated several benefits, including enhanced concentration, listening comprehension skills, and reinforcement of knowledge.
